| On a recent trip to the north bay I was able to visit some of the shooting locations for American Graffiti. I thought it would be a gas to compare and contrast the way things looked back in 1972 when the film was in production, to the way the same locations look today. Some of the buildings or spots no longer exist such as The miniature golf/arcade in Pinole or the wrecking yard in Sonoma. However many of the same buildings that were part of the backdrop for the film are still standing. So, lets take a look at some of locations, shall we? |
