Artemis is Minako's plush toy cat. He seems to play a similar role for Minako as Luna does for Usagi. It seems to be thanks to Artemis that Minako knows she is Sailor V and the Princess. In Act 12 he introduces Sailor Venus to the other Sailor Guardians as the Princess of the Moon Kingdom, the Silver Millennium, and the heir to the Silver Crystal.
