North Inner City Ward - Dublin City Council I am an independent community candidate in the 2004 local elections. A long time activist, I recognise the importance of communities working together. Now, more than ever, there is a need for proper representation at City Council level. As a candidate, I see myself as one part of a community based campaign working together to help elect a councillor who genuinely represents the interests of and is answerable to the community. Each community has its own priority concerns. The topics here are relevant across Dublin. My opinion on these is based on personal experience, having worked with others to see these issues addressed.
