THERE IS NO LONGER ANY POINT IN UPDATING THIS HARKEN-FANNARKEN WEB PAGE. |
Even though I broke down about a year ago and registered this web address, I finally had to come to the conclusion that the Geocities File Manager is more suited to the working of my caveman-like mind than DreamWeaver. And, to top that off, the company I bought the domain name from recently blanked the content and sent me a nasty note indicating that if I ever wanted to see my content again I had better fork over $9.95 US, which may be standard practice, but in my book, it's still extortion. So I am back to the Geocities page. Why not? It makes me a unique individual!
So here find the poems, diatribes, short stories, naughty bits, and pictures as they are, and as they accumulate, as the page gets updated. But no pictures of naughty bits. Yet. Read, share, enjoy, discuss. Just don't spill any grape juice on it. That stuff is IMPOSSIBLE to get out of a web page.

Why do I do all this crap? My writing philosophy can be guessed at from the second attempt at a stab at POETIC THEORY, and I DO mean STAB! Although more might actually be learned by reading the Notes on the Writing of the poem Gun.
Here's a note on the BACKGROUNDS
I have added a couple of stories in The Architect's Sketch department. The tally now reads 13, so I suppose I should be-- sigh-- prepping them for submission for publication somewhere. Ecch.
Recently, I've begun writing what appear to be the first installments in another series of short stories. I know; I'm supposed to get the first one published before I work on the next one. But I never do things in order.
Meet the new blog. Same as the old blog. But different from old old blog.
