Arresto Momentum~ Spell used to slow the fall of an object or person. Used by Dumbledore in the film version of "Harry Potter and the Prison of Azkaban" when Harry was falling from his broomstick after having seen the dementors during a Quidditch Match.
Augamenti~ Creates water.
Avada Kedavra~ One of the Unforgivable Curses, immediately kills the target in a flash of green light. Leaves no sign of cause of death. Only known survivor of this curse is Harry Potter. Some victims of this curse are; Lilly Potter, James Potter, Tom Riddle Jr., Tom Riddle Jr's parents, Frank Bryce, Bertha Jorkins and Albus Dumbledore, along with many others.
Avis~ Small Birds fly out of the wand.
Bat Bogey Hex~ Spell cast so well by Ginny Weasley that she was invited into the "Slug Club" in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

Expecto Patronus~ Spell used to summon a Patronus which acts as a type of shield to the dementors. The Patronus takes the shape of something the caster finds strength in. Examples are: Harry Potter's Patronus becomes a stag; the animal that his father became as an Animagus. Nymphadora Tonk's patronus changes to a werewolf in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince after she falls in love with Remus Lupin.

Four-Point Spell~ Causes caster's wand to function as a compass.
Furnunculus~ Causes Ugly Boils to spring up.
Glowing DA Coins~ Spell used to make the coins given to all DA members to glow and change serial numbers to alert members of the date and time of the next secret meeting.
Homorphus Charm~ According to Gilderoy Lockhart, this spell reverses lycanthropy, returning werewolf to man.
Immobulus~ Freezes target creature, immobilizing them. Used in film of "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" when Hermione cast the spell to freeze the Cornish Pixies in a Defense Against the Dark Arts Class.
Impediment Curse~ Slows and obstructs target creature.
Imperius Curse~ One of the Unforgivable Curses, allows the caster to control the target.
Impervius~ Spell used twice by the Gryffindor Quidditch Team to prevent rain from obstructing their view.
Incarcerous~ Binds target in ropes.

Langlock~ Mutes target by gluing the tongue to the roof of the mouth.
Lecarnum Inflammare~ Spell cast by Hermione Granger multiple times in Book 1; Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone to light Severus Snape's robes on fire as well as force the Devil's snare to release Ronald Weasley and Harry Potter. May have also been the same spell used by Rubeus Hagrid in the same book to light a fire in the fireplace in the cabin where the Dursleys were staying with Harry. Hermione's words are never muttered in the book so that we know the incantation, however the incantation listed is that which is used in the film version.
Levicorpus~ Spell found in the Potions book of "The Half Blood Prince" in Book 6 that caused the target to raise into the air as if hanging from their ankle.

Obliviate~ Memory Charm that erases the memory/memories of the target to forget certain events. Used frequently by Gilderoy Lockhart in his efforts to reach fame by taking credit for the actions of other wizards.
Occulus Reparo~ Fixes eye-glasses.
Orchideous~ Flowers Burst from wand.
Pesky-Pixie-Pestunomes~ Whether or not this is a real spell in any fashion or simply something that sounded as such to Gilderoy Lockhart; he attempted to cast it to round up the Cornish Pixies he had let loose in the film version of "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets".
Petrificus Totalis~ Stunning spell causes temporary immobalization. Can be broken with the spell "Enervate" or if the caster dies or releases the spell.
Pimple Former on Crabbe~ Spell cast by Harry Potter targetted at Draco Malfoy but instead hitting Vincent Crabbe, caused boils to erupt on his face.
Prior Incanto~ Triggers a wand to reveal the last spell cast with it by replicating the last spell in a ghostly, smaller fashion. Was used to determine that Harry Potter's wand summoned the Dark Mark in Book 4; Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and was also the spell triggered at the end of said book when Harry Potter duels with Voldemort.

Sectumsempra~ Spell found in the potions book of "The Half Blood Prince" in Book 6 that caused slash marks to erupt on the tartget. This spell nearly killed Draco Malfoy when Harry Potter cast it upon him in Moaning Myrtle's bathroom.
Serpensortia~ Summons a long black snake. Used by Malfoy in book 2; Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets during the dueling club.
Shield Charm~ Summons a temporary invisible wall to deflect minor curses.
Silencio~ Spell used to silence target. Book 5; Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Sonorus~ To use, point wand at throat and utter incantation. The caster's voice becomes amplified.
Specialis Revelio~ Used to reveal hidden properties of target item.
SNEAK Appearing Curse~ Spell cast upon the parchment signed by all students participating in "Dumbledor's Army" in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, the spell jinxed anyone who told about the "club" to have the word SNEAK appear on their forehead and could not be removed with any known acne cures.
Sunlight Spell~ Spell cast by Hermione Granger in the film version of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone", causes sunlight to erupt from the wand. Was used in the film to make Devil's Snare release Ronald Weasley.
Tarantallegra~ Causes target's legs to jerk around and dance.
Tergeo~ Cleans Blood and presumably other liquids by siphoning them into the caster's wand.
Tooth Growing~ Spell cast by Draco Malfoy aimed at Harry Potter that missed and instead hit Hermione Granger in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The spell caused the front teeth to grow at an alarming rate.
Unbreakable Vow~ Flame binds hands of those making the vow. The vow CANNOT be broken in anyway, if an attempt is made to break the vow, the person will die.
Veriverto~ Spell used to transform a small animal into a teacup. Film version of "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets".
Wingardium Leviosa~ Swish and Flick Spell will leviatate target object.
