Welcome to the first chapter of my HTML tutorials.

This chapter is only an introduction for HTML.
So, shall we start?

First of all, I need to introduce to you, what is an HTML?
A Hypertext Markup Language, also known as HTML, is the language used to create a webpage and to insert information which we can see on the World Wide Web.

What are the applications we can use to create an HTML?
  • Notepad
  • Notepad ++
  • Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
  • Java Script
  • Adobe Dreamweaver

These are only a few examples of applications we can use to create HTML.
But, we are only going to focus on using the most basic application that is easy to use and understand.
And it is the application "Notepad."
I'm not just going to introduce you the HTML and the applications we can use to create these. I will also introduce to you the format you should follow to successfully create an HTML.

And then, when you're done with your html, click the file tab, and click on the "Save" or "Save As" option.

Or, you can simply hold the "Ctrl" button and press the "s" button to save the html document.
