Cool Hand Luke lived in Baltimore for a couple of years. That's
right. WBAL-TV used "Cool Hand Luke." This is not the same
cut that was used, but it is a similar theme. As soon as we get it, we
will post it.

Hello News! Well, that is one part of a very popular image from News Theme
Master Frank Gari. The opening is a cut from "Classical Gas."
Note: Mason Williams, the guy who composed the song, was very popular in
Baltimore, so I am told.

Hello Again News! Here is the news opening with "Hello"
signature. This was started when WBAL switched from NBC to CBS or The
Mighty Peacock to the Mighty Eye. CBS was the top television network at
that point.

This is the closing theme for the hello news package. This was also used,
very well, by WXIA 11Alive News in Atlanta, Georgia.

Pittsburgh, WISN-TV Channel 12 News in Milwaukee or WLWT Eyewitness News 5 in
Cincinnati, then odds are is that station is owned by Hearst-Argyle
Television. This theme is composed by Frank Gari. The Package is
called Image News.

WBAL used the UPDATED standard issue Hearst-Argyle News Theme by Frank Gari.
The Package is called Image News. And all of the Hearst-Argyle stations
are using this package with updated standard issue Hearst Graphics. KCRA
is not using this package though.
