About Washington DC/Baltimore TV News

Washington DC/Baltimore TV News started on December 27, 1999 as "DC Newssite."  It was the first website dedicated to serving television news fans in the Greater Washington Area.  A couple of weeks later, the name was changed to Washington DC Television News or Washignton DC TV News.In July of 2000 Baltimore TV News was launched.  It was the first website for Television News fans in Baltimore.  In November 2000, Harrison Wyman joined us as a regular commentator/columnist.  The first for a TV fan website to have someone other than the editor have a column.  In December 2000, DC TV News and Baltimore TV News became charter affiliates of the Eyewitness Network News.  ENN is a group of television fan websites reporting the news in their perspective markets.  In May 2001, Washington DC TV News and Baltimore TV News became one.  Combining the websites showed that well over 12,000 visitors have visited DC/Baltimore TV News since our 1999 start from its humble beginnings covering one market.
