Washington
DC/Baltimore TV News started on December 27, 1999 as "DC
Newssite." It was the first website dedicated to serving
television news fans in the Greater Washington Area. A couple
of weeks later, the name was changed to Washington DC Television
News or Washignton DC TV News.In July of 2000 Baltimore TV News was
launched. It was the first website for Television News fans in
Baltimore. In November 2000, Harrison Wyman joined us as a
regular commentator/columnist. The first for a TV fan website
to have someone other than the editor have a column. In
December 2000, DC TV News and Baltimore TV News became charter
affiliates of the Eyewitness Network News. ENN is a group of
television fan websites reporting the news in their perspective
markets. In May 2001, Washington DC TV News and Baltimore TV
News became one. Combining the websites showed that well over
12,000 visitors have visited DC/Baltimore TV News since our 1999
start from its humble beginnings covering one market. |

Burns, Creator/Editor
Paul Kenneth Burns is the creator and editor of Washington
DC/Baltimore TV News as well as the Capital Network which includes
Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. Mr. Burns was born in Washington,
DC and was raised in Maryland. Mr. Burns is a graduate of High
Point High School and attends Prince George's Community
College. He is a News Assistant for WTOP-AM/FM and is also a
freelance writer. He currently resides in Adelphi, MD. |

Harrison
Wyman, Columnist/Commentator
Harrison S. Wyman is a lifelong Washingtonian with an interest
in broadcasting and its effects on the community and nation. A
former reporter for WPFW-FM, Mr., Wyman is also a reviewer for TV
Barn, a website devoted to television news and reviews.
