Cloud Strife

Cloud Strife

Age: 21
Occupation: Ex-SOLDIER turned Mercinary

Once a member of Shinra's elite group called SOLDIER, Cloud has turned towards the power of mercinariship as he joins AVALANCHE for one job to destroy the Number 1 of 7 reactors that surround the huge city of Midgar. After this job, and after he is paid off by Barret, he is encouraged to stay with AVALANCHE with his long-time friend Tifa. A few missions later, he realizes that a once-friend of his, Sephiroth, is still alive and he then later reveals that this is the only reason he's with AVALANCHE. Seven-tenths of the entire storyline of Final Fantasy VII revolves around Cloud Strife.

Limit Breaks

Level 1:

- Braver -
Cloud leaps up into the air and performs a playa-hating chop that will take care of most enemies in one blow.

- Cross-Slash -
Cloud rips into the enemy with three powerful blows that leaves them in paralisis if they dare to live through the attack.

Level 2:

- Blade Beam -
One huge wave of energy strikes a single targeted opponent; then, from that one enemy, smaller, weaker waves strike the other enemies.

- Climhazzard -
Cloud skewers a single enemy then leaps high into the air to finish the job.

Level 3:

- Meteorain -
Leaping into the air, Cloud circles his sword around summoning a barrage of meteors upon the enemies. The more the enemies, the weaker the attack. Come on! Would it hurt worse if one rock hit you and your friends or if ten rocks smack your cranium?

- Finishing Touch -
Cloud creates a huge whirlwind that sucks up the enemies, then it turns wrongsey-diety and sends them crashing back down. Some die instantly, some don't. Like the Cross-Slash, it would be better to simply die.

Level 4:

- Omnislash -
(found in the Gold Saucer if you can get 32,000 Battle Points in the in Battle Arena)
Cloud's most powerful attack. He simply runs up to an opponent, or group of opponents, and proceeds to mercilessly slash them into ribbons with ungodly sword slashes ending with a Braver-type chop. The only attack more powerful than this is the summoned ''Knights of the Round''.

Most powerful Limit Break: Omnislash

Coolest looking Limit Break: Finishing Touch
