| Paige Matthews Paige had trouble adjusting to becoming a Witch and a sister. She became Charmed after Prue's death, the lost sister. Her birth mother was the mother of the Charmed Ones and her father was her Whitelighter, Sam. Since it was forbidden for a Witch and a Whitelighter to even be seen together, she was taken to a monestary and taken care of by a kindly nun who, since they had Orbed to her, thought they were angels. Her mother's wish for her daughter was that her name would begin with a 'P'. Paige was adopted but her parents died in a car crash. She survived thanks to her Powers but guilt plagues her. She was alone for a long time before moving into the Manor where she forged a close bond with her sisters. |

Being half Witch and half Whitelighter, Paige has a lot to offer the group. Her Whitelighter half has strange affects on the Telekinetic Power she inherited from Prue. Paige is impulsive and often has trouble with authority. It was thanks to these properties that she discovered Cole as the Source. When he returned, Paige quit her job, the day after being promoted to Social Worker, devoting her entire life to the Craft. She gained many skills and Powers, some advanced, some new. She caught up with her sisters in that field and is now more confident that she is not constantly in Prue's shadow. After Leo left to play out his new role as an Elder, Paige decided it was best to slow her pace. Paige is now on a quest to find herself, taking numerous temp. jobs until she can find one that fits her, but these have taken her to a man who was trapped in the form of a dog, a boss who was harrassing a female employee, a pair of goblins who were hurtig workers, and a feud between two families of Witches. Something's going on, and Paige is determined to discover what this is. |
