I stand in solitude Against the vicious world Trying to escape the stampede Of its felonious denizens. Blasphemy and sacrilege Led to vendatta with God Anathemized and none to salvage. The deity of specters Prognosticate my demise The scorching sun ventures To slaughter me without hiatus. The pyshce of mine cannot But wail due to haemorrhage. This life I edict to be mine Misnomered me as hypoctite. Jaded of importuning my life So I masquerade myself With euphoria albeit Futily battling against the world. Haunted by wraiths and spooks Wizened and vexed I stand I still stand in solitude. -------------------------- NILEEM |
