Sun setting on the Meon Shore Huts
The river Meon now enters the sea through sluice gates at Hillhead harbour. The estuaries entrance to the sea is now blocked by a shingle bank and man made dike.
Meon Shore huts are a collection of chalets built on a shingle bank that now blocks the sea inlet that led up to the Titchfield canal Sealock.
