Having a strong back has many benefits to your health. For example, the majority of people suffer from back paion at least once in their life which can cause serious pain or sometimes could paralyse a person. Regularly performing back exercises prevents you from getting back pain. Also having a strong back can allow you to lift more when picking up a barbell weight.

Spatan style exercises

To gain the back strength of a spartan, perform commando pull ups which is where you stand under pull up bar and turn to one side, then grip the bar so that your right hand is in front of your left hand and facing away from you. When you pull yourself up, your head should be on the right side of the bar, then return to the bottom and pull your self up again except your head would be on the left side. On the next set, turn around to switch the hand grip.
