Ok, weve discussed about shooting others, rifles and were to set up...
Now what if somebody starts shooting ME?
First things first, unless its another sniper, you dont need to panic too much. If youve chosen your spot well there should be a nice little ditch behind you. You can either crawl backwards into it or get up and run into it. Thats the main reason i suggest you use a place with a divit or ditch behind you. Next thing to do is to assess the situation. Was it a saw or m4 that was shooting at you? Is it likely a LAW will come your way shortly? Was it another sniper??
At this point, if your still alive, it might be best to start thinking of finding a new sniping spot to go to, otherwise your going to get shot at a lot!!Best way to do this is to run away in the crouch position ready to go prone. If you really must, you can crawl but i suggest you try run away from the spot otherwise the blast from a LAW might take you out. If it was somebody with an M4 or a SAW its best to crawl away...on the other hand, if its a sniper...
If a sniper takes a shot at you and misses, you'll know about it. Youll hear the PING of the bullet on the soil near you or you'll see dust rise infront or near you. You may even get a red screen. If you can crawl backwards, but if you dont want to risk it, GET UP AND RUN! Thats what i personally do if another sniper shoots at me. Its better to run away and have him try and take a hard shot than you slowely crawling away and the sniper getting another clean shot at you. If you try take a mental note of the snipers position when you move you can get revenge for disturbing your peace!
If you do get shot, its wise not to go back to the same spot unless you know that you can take out the sniper first. A clever sniper will look at places hes taken out other snipers, 'cos most probably end up going back to their original spot. Just another handy hint...
