Oriental Chicken Soup

   1 can chicken broth (plus required water)
   1 cup hot water
   2 tbl. powdered chicken broth
   3/4 cup egg noodles or spaghetti noodles (broken in half)
   1/4 cup frozen peas
   1 small carrot, sliced in small sticks
   1 green onion, chopped entirely.
   1 tsp. soy sauce
   pinch of dill weed
   juice of 1/2 lemon
   1/2 tsp. sesame oil
   1/2 tsp. lemon grass powder
   pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
   chow mien noodles (optional but if you have them, they are a nice addition)

Place the chicken broth and the water in a sauce pan. Add the hot water and powdered chicken broth. Bring to a boil. Add the noodles, remaining vegetables and spices, as well as soy sauce, sesame oil, simmer until noodles are cooked. Top with chow mien noodles.
Serves 4 as a meal accompaniment
