What you can do now

You can ski most of the mountain.  You might like to improve on anything from the Level 7 list. You may be ready for deeper powder, difficult crud, or starting to adventure onto the double blacks in good conditions.

What you are ready to learn now

More fine tuning. Exploring the mountain at this level is so great.  How to read snow conditions and tactics for those difficult areas.  How to handle yourself in the really terrible snow.

Where you are ready to ski now

In Las Leñas you can definitely try all the marked trails on the map with the exception of Marte run under the chair.  With a guide, and with fair to good conditions, you are ready to try Paraiso, Mercurio, Senador, and El Collar.

In Snowmass, you can  venture onto the wall and areas such as KT gully, AMF, and the Cirque headwall.
