What you can do now You are skiing on green and easy blues. You
would like to learn better control on the steeper blues, and the easy blues when
they are not perfectly groomed. What you are ready to learn now You are ready to learn how to improve your side to side balance and edging skills to hold better on the steeper blue runs. You'll learn tactics about how to approach the steeper sections, such as not stopping like a mountain goat at the top of them and psyching yourself out. You'll learn how continuous movement will help not only keep you in balance, but keep you ...well.....'moving'. You might learn how to start using your poles to mark the start of your turn and develop a rhythm. Where you are ready to ski now You are ready for all the blues now, regardless of steepness. You'll still find the steep ones challenging, so you'll want to try them under ideal conditions initially. At Snowmass, this will open up so much terrain for you. You will be able to ski off any of the chairlifts. At
Las Leñas, this will open up these slopes,
usually in the following order depending on conditions, Minerva, Neptuno,
Apollo, Vulcano, and Urano. How to get there next Improving Posture is a key thing at any level
