Yanar becomes conscious as Sonic and Tails wonder why they're in jail.  Suddenly, robots enter the cell and remove Tails from his shackles.  Yanar asks if he is being taken to trial, which makes the robots laugh at the thought of the High Sheriff holding a trial.  Sonic watches as Tails is taken away, and he tries to run after them.  The shackles hold Sonic back, and he falls to the ground, hitting his head.

Knuckles turns around to find a hedgehog named Rob o' the Hedge, who is the king of Deerwood Forest.  Rob stands on a log across a stream, and Knuckles knocks Rob into the water.  Rob is pleasantly surprised and asks Knuckles to join him.

Yanar asks how Sonic came to the area.  Sonic explains that the weather was bad (thanks to the start of the Day of Fury, as seen in Knuckles the Echidna #10) and they decided to fly into the storm, which proved to be a stupid idea.  Tails landed the plane before both him and Sonic lost consciousness.  When Sonic began to awake, he found a robot calling him Rob o' the Hedge.  Since he was too dizzy to fight, Sonic was thrown in jail.  Sonic asks why Yanar is in jail, so Yanar explains that his tribe was searching for their homeland when they ran into robots (Knuckles #10-11).  Sonic is surprised and says he thought that echidnas only lived on the Floating Island.  Before Yanar gets a chance to explain why that is not true, the robots return again, this time for Sonic.  Sonic says that his name isn't Rob o' the Hedge, but the robots still do not believe him.  Yanar tries to jump on one of the robots, who pin him to the ground.  Yanar manages to grab the keys from one of the robots and tosses them towards Sonic as he is taken away.  Sonic catches the keys with his sneaker and then uses his mouth to unlock his shackles.

Meanwhile, Rob explains that his comrades were captured and roboticized by the High Sheriff, the sub-boss in Mercia.  Rob tells Knuckles that he has vowed to restore all of them.  Knuckles asks Rob if he has seen the tribe.  Rob says he hasn't, but climbs a tree to look around.

The "Find Your Name in Print Page" - 1 page

Rob looks through a telescope and sees the echidna tribe cutting down trees.  Knuckles borrows the telescope and realizes that Yanar is missing.  He realizes that he is also responsible for the echidna tribe and decides to go free them.  Rob grabs Knuckles' arm and says that they'll fight together.

The robots come back for Sonic, who uses his speed to knock them down.  Sonic runs out of the cell and soon finds Tails strapped on a rack.  When Tails refuses to talk, the High Sheriff of Snottingham orders another robot named Bodo to crank the chains tighter.  Bodo then tickles Tails' bare feet with a feather.  Tails laughs and begins to tell the robots how the plane he was flying had to land because of a storm.  The High Sheriff doesn't believe him.  Sonic recognizes the robot as General D'Coolette, whose troop was lost in the war.  After realizing that the general was captured and then roboticized, Sonic runs to the rack and frees Tails.  Sonic then turns around and tells General D'Coolette that he is Antoine's friend.  The High Sheriff says that the names have no meaning to him and then attacks Sonic with an axe attached to a wall.  Tails tells Sonic to do something, but Sonic refuses to hurt the general.  As the High Sheriff prepares to attack Sonic with a sword, Tails flies to the ceiling and sees a chandelier held by a rope.  Tails unties the rope, and the chandelier falls on top of the general.  Sonic races out of the room as Tails flies beside him.

Knuckles and Rob approach a log stretched across a stream, and a cloaked stranger stands ready to fight.  Knuckles thinks that the figure looks familiar as Rob approaches the stranger.

Sonic Fan Art - 1 page

The stranger knocks Rob into the water, and Knuckles realizes that the stranger is actually Mari-An.  Mari-An helps Rob out of the water and their eyes meet.  Knuckles manages to get their attention, and Mari-An asks if he has found her brothers.  Knuckles assumes that the brothers are hiding and then shows Sonic and Tails' plane.  Rob points out that a trail from the plane leads toward the High Sheriff's castle; Sonic and Tails may be in trouble.

Sonic wonders if they are traveling in circles.  He pushes a door open and begins to walk up some stairs.  Tails sees a shadow, and Sonic quickly destroys the robot.

Rob leads Knuckles and Mari-An to Friar Buck's chapel.  Inside the chapel is a secret passage that leads to the castle.  Soon the three are in the castle, and Rob appears from beneath the floor.  Sonic is thrown backwards, and Rob welcomes him.  Once Sonic sees Rob, he realizes why they thought he looked like Rob.  Rob remarks that he sent his cousin Amy Rose to Sonic's village for safety.  Sonic is shocked that somebody knows Amy, and Knuckles tells everyone that they need to start moving.  Rob leads everyone toward the outside of the castle.  Suddenly everyone stops at a balcony only to find that the High Sheriff is going to hang Yanar to teach the echidna tribe a lesson.

King Acorn is tired of all of the physical examinations conducted by Doctor Quack.  Doctor Quack explains that he wants to make sure that the king is healthy.  King Acorn says he can't explain the forces inside him and that Doctor Quack's father would be able to help confirm what he is about to say.  Doctor Quack is upset over the loss of his father and the fact that he never checked his father's files.  King Acorn assures Doctor Quack that it is not certain that he would find the information he needs.

King Acorn begins to recall his past.  When King Acorn was ten, his father, King Fredrick Acorn, took the king to a location below the palace to what looked like a pool of gold and silver.  King Fredrick explains that the pool is the source of their power.  The young King Acorn wades into the pool and becomes covered in the substance.  Afterwards, the liquid metal was removed from his body and molded into a crown and the Sword of Acorns.  At this time, the king bonded with the Source of All.  Everyone was once a speck from the matter that comes from the Source of All.  Only a few are selected to lead everyone while others are able to follow their dreams.

Doctor Quack asks about the purpose of the crown and the sword.  King Acorn explains that it his his link to the Source of All.  When Julian took over Robotropolis, the Source gave King Acorn an omen.  King Acorn ordered Rosie to take the children and hide his sword.  Rosie, Julayla, and the children escaped with the sword, and the crown disappeared, merging within King Acorn before he was sent to the Zone of Silence.  The crown could not protect him from Ixis Naugus, but once King Acorn recovered his sword, the Source of All restored him.  King Acorn knows that things can't continue like they did before, even if Princess Sally wants it to.

Sonic-Grams highlights:
~ When the Ultimate Annihilator malfunctioned, all existence was erased for a second and then restored, except for Robotnik since Snively had tampered with the device
~ You can't get a pair of Sonic's shoes since Uncle Chuck created them by combining Sonic's old shoes and power rings
 ~ Antoine is a coyote
~ Hershey used to be part of the Knothole village, whereas Drago used to be part of the Wolf Pack before he betrayed them
