And here we go for the REAL Black Luster Soldier. He's much more weaker than the one we see in IOC, but its a little easier to summon.

As always with Rituals, it totally kills your hand control
The first thing we can see about this monster is, that he's a Ritual Monster. Rituals are seeing more play. This guy should do pretty good in a Warrior or an Earth deck. He has the exact stats of a Blue Eyes, and he's cool lookin'. Ritual Summons totally kills your hand control though. Lets see... if you wish to summon this guy by offering monsters ON the field, then you would have to have THIS card AND the ritual card. That lowers your hand count down by 2. If you plan to offer monsters in your hand, then thats even more cards that will totally kill your hand. Once you get him on the field, he is very vulnerable to Spell, Traps, and Effect Monsters.... So back this guy up with a few cards and he'll be fine... providing that you still have cards that is.

Given it's big brother, the Envoy of the Beginning, this is deserving of a Starter. A ritual with good attack. And, a decent preview of the other BLS out there. Granted, it's not as good as the other, but it's stil worthy of play, just 'cause it's a useful ritual.

This card is a regular ritual card. Atk of 3000 Def of 2500. Equal to blue-Eyes White dragon. Can only be ritual summon by the use of Black Luster Ritual. But i prefer using a hero emerges to bring it out if that the only monster i got in my hand.

From now on, i'll stop giving a full spoiler, since SDC is already doing so.
Well, BLS is basically a loser. There's no point playing him unless, you want an earth warrior ritual better than performance of sword and that wicked burger. So don't use him, unless you're a Yugi freak OR the good thing, when you play Dragon Master Champion. Because he's not in English yet, do not play this card! Keep him untill DMC is released.
