"My people divide the world into two types - Hedgehogs and Foxes. Hedgehogs know a lot about one big thing whereas foxes know a littleabout lots of small things" - Neil Gaiman, "World's End"

It's nothing to be ashamed of.

After all, we're all geeks to one extent or another.

For to be a geek (according to my definition, and I may have got this wrong but since this is my reality I can define the rules) means to know a hell of a lot about a specific subject. And it doesn't deny us the ability to deal with other everyday things such as banking or clothes or shopping or whatever; it just means that we have certain areas of interest that we know more about than we do other things.

And if we can achieve geekdom on enough subjects then we might get close to appearing to be a fully-rounded individual.

Which is why I'm proud to admit that I'm a:

Film Geek

TV Geek

Sci-Fi Geek

Computer Geek

and Comic-Book Geek
