I'm a MIDI Queen! You need MIDI here
Welcome to Selena's Sanctuary. This is just the title in camoflage paint with two little palm trees either side. You're not really missing much and it doesn't go anywhere so, well, that's all she wrote!

Well, well, well, this is a surprise!

Then again, maybe it's not.

After all, we all have to grow and develop, otherwise what's the point in living? And as we do so, our views and ideas change. As does what we show of ourselves and what we produce.

(Although despite all this Xander Woke Up Gay...Again!)

But I'm babbling.

Welcome to 'Selena's Sanctuary', my own little space on the world-wide web. Although there are other places where I lurk and contribute, this is the only one that's all my own work. To all new visitors, I bid you welcome. Please feel free to explore by clicking on any one of the links below and seeing where it takes you. I admit that some of the catagories are a little oddly titled, but they all make sense in the end. And if they don't, they warn you first.

To any who have been here before, yes, much has changed. Like many dualities the Light and Dark sides of my mind have started to merge, and the site now reflects the same. Although the darkness is still there in shadowy corners, but hey, that's just me. And I'm probably boring you now so I'll just leave you to the links.

(Oh, one last thing, she said in her best Columbo impresonation. If you leave your cursor over the images they should pop up a slightly more detailed description of what they are and where they lead to. If it goes again, just move the pointer away and back to read on. Failing that, try reloading without the graphics to see the spiel)
This creature here is a Punk Fox; a cartoon character I created years ago when I thought I might try to develop some talents as a cartoonist. Unfortunately I had neither the time nor the dedication to follow it through but he's a good representation of my Geekdom - all those little areas of interest that I'm really into in a big way. I'm not ashamed of being a geek. We're all geeks to one extent or another. But there's more about that in this section so I'll just leave it up to you whether you want to click here or not. Warning: Contains personal opinion.   I don't know what this thing is. He's definitely a cowled figure but what lurks beneath I don't think I want to know. He guards my Dark Thoughts - all those opinions and musings that might cause offense or get me into trouble or are just a little bit scary. Warning: Contains personal opinion   This young lady has no name - she's just a quasi-mystical figure I drew to represent The Shrine. This is where I put up details of some of my closest friends, and of course myself. Note that if you knbow me and you're not up here, it's nothing personal, nor do I mean any offence by it. I just know a lot of people and don't have time or space to mention them all, but I love you all anyway.

These three are interesting. They are characters I created once during a SIMM and they've stuck around ever since. The nervous one on the left is Martin, an 8th century Briton and (in my world) a saint. The one on the right is Dorothea, a 19th century demonologist who almost destroyed the world and loves Martin (who loves her back). The one in the middle is Kretzner, an annoying 3ft lizard demon with a nasty sense of humour. They look after all those bits of my site that don't fit under any other heading, including my pages of links. NB: For those who have encountered these three before,, I know I never said that Dorothea was from the 19th century before but when I tried to draw her, that's how she appeared. So that's how she is now.   Oh look, it's Buffy the Vampire Slayer mutated by a paint package. This leads to links to the two Buffy sites I'm trying to set up, as well as a few pieces of fan fiction I've written.   The young woman tells me that her name is Elizabeth but refuses to give a surname. She is in charge of My Writing, which is (unsurprisingly) a collection of my short stories published here and elsewhere on the net. And no, I'm not sure what she's drinking but it's very...red
