Most frequently caught carp in The Lake. Size can be huge and sometimes exceed 20 pounds. Average size is 2 - 4 pounds. Carp is bottom feeder and wonder bread is the usual bait for catching carp. Since carp may be huge and powerful, be sure to watch the rod. Unattended rod with be dragged into the water and will disappear within seconds.

Not like common carp, mirror carp have bigger scales and is unevenly distributed over the body. Scales along the lateral line is larger than the other part of the body.
