| Squadron " Kosakov "was formed in January of 1937 with the arrival of new I-15s and a new group of Soviet pilots who were already under the command of Alexander Petrovich Osadshii, well-known in Spain under the pseudonym of Boris Kosakov. There is data leads to the probablility that Grupo 12was operative in the middle of December. In May of 1937, with the reorganization of the FARE, this squadron integrated itself within the 3rd Escudrilla. |
