| The Coastal Defense Patrol was constituted on February of 1937 in the Carmol� by William Labusi�re with a partial shipment of I-15 replacement aircraft. Later it transferred was to the aerodrome of Santiago de la "Shore" and in October it received I-16s. At the end of the year it disbanded when Grupo 71 took over the defense of the coast. There were additional Coastal Defense Patrols out of Catalonia and Valencia, but these patrols depended on detachments from squadrons of Grupo 26. |
