The Saved by the Bell Date Book is actually quite a nice book. It has a heavy softcover, sturdy pages of heavy-weight paper, and a comb binding so that it lies flat. It's also the kind of calendar that could be used in any year, so if you found an unused one, you could still use it now. While the original price was $8.95, I have seen these priced as high as $40 in used bookstores. On Ebay they tend to go for around $10 or more.

The first five pages are full-page pictures of the six stars with Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley shown together, and individual head shots of the others. The rest of the book contains loads of pictures, most of which I've seen before in other places--still they are nice to have. Each of the actors' birthdays are listed along with most major holidays. Besides pictures, there are also "fun facts" about the actors or the characters (such as favorite foods), "pretend" notes from one character to another, Jessie's Fact File (little snippets of interesting information), and other little things like beauty tips or silly quizzes.

This is a cute book and would actually make a neat date book for a fan, but they are rare enough that I don't think I'll ever write in mine! While rare, these are not impossible to find, so be patient!
