This is a free learning resource about Castilian Spanish (castellano), the standard language of Spain. I make no claims that this represents usage in Latin America. Castilian should not be confused with other languages of Spain, such as Galician, Catalan or Basque.

Verbs: A lot of English speakers are put off learning Spanish, because they think that learning the verb is difficult. But it's easier than you think. The 'basics' section here breaks it down into short easy lessons. Each one should take less than fifteen minutes to learn. Do one every day, and you can master the basics in ten days.
