Tiger Falls

Even though the Falls is one of the more popular tourist sights around Chakrata the pristine beauty of the Falls and its surrounding can more than make up for noisy crowds.

The flowing streams attract lots of birds and insects - Keep a look out for them in the quieter areas. Don't forget to check out the beautiful Dragon/Damsel flies.

The villages around the falls depend on the streams for there agriculture and also canalize them to make small water mills to grind there flour. The villagers are quiet friendly and on request will let you see inspect one of the many mills in the area.
