What is Sacred Crossroads?

Sacred Crossroads is an organization whose goal is to bring the Toronto pagan community together and to provide them with services designed for the unique needs of pagans. In order to best serve the pagans of the GTA, we intend to set up a pagan community centre in the new year. Currently we are fundraising and setting up our programs.

Sacred Crossroads is owned by Natasha and Heather, both of whom are a strong presence in the local community. They are assisted by a volunteer board of Community Advisors, who help initiate and implement events and programs. We have adopted Our Credo in order to help us best help the community. Our Credo is based on The Seeker's Bill of Rights of a pagan community centre in Texas called Betwixt & Between. They are in many ways what we would one day like to be. Our Purpose as a Group

	to act as a clearinghouse on pagan happenings in Greater Toronto
	to foster goodwill & community spirit between diverse pagan individuals & groups
	to promote a positive & accurate image of the pagan community to the public & the media
	to raise funds to open a Pagan Community Centre in Toronto for 2005

Our Purpose as a Community Centre

	to provide a safe, affordable space for local pagans to use for their events, classes, workshops, therapies and rituals
	to provide access to information through a resource library/reading room & brochure stand
	to pagan school or classes & a parent support group for those raising their children as pagans
	a body for welcoming Pagans who are new to the City of Toronto, providing information & a helping hand to those wishing to join our Community (See Quaich Welcome Cup)
	to start up Spiral Scouts troop for interested children
	to showcase the talents of local pagan artisans & performers
	to provide a network for pagan businesses & services

Our Dream Space

	a meditation/quiet room
	a reading room/library - ideally equipped with Internet access
	office and AV equipment which any member of the Centre can use
	therapy rooms for energy workers, psychotherapists, etc.

	a tea room

Community Centre Wish List
These are items we are looking to have donated. Corporate sponsors or private donors are welcome, and acknowledgement of various types is readily available. Please let us know if you can donate anything on this list, and whether you can store large items or not.
