Lasombra. Jim Turner, a low-ranking initiate of the St Gabrial Chapter of the Society of Leopold, was one of the few individuals in the world who have had the chance to fully translate the so-called Armageddon Prophecy. His findings, however, brought Turner a fascination with the race of Cainites. Learning also that many of the portents of the Armageddon Prophecy were directly related to the city of Maiden Newton, Turner decided to offer the Sabbat of that city a trade: his knowledge and findings about the prophecy and about Hope, in exchange for the Embrace. Tomsk Lesteran, the highest-ranking member of the Temple present at the time, agreed, and Turner became a Lasombra. However, the consequences were devestating.
Somehow, the "turning of a pious man into an agent of the devil" allowed Lord Arrakon, the dark god whom the prophecy concerns, to place his consciousness into Turner's mind, taking control of this 'host' and imbuing it with his own powers. Turner/Arrakon then proceeded to probe Tomsk's mind, learning that the baby Hope was in the care of former Bishop Shane Orton. Turner was then able to snatch Hope from deep within the bowels of |

He reappeared some weeks later, when Mog informed the Temple, at the Festivo dello Estinto, that he planned to take Hope through the Black Gates and into the realm of Lord Arrakon. Turner was stopped after a vicious encounter, and Zy was victorious in destroying the errant Lasombra, and thereby staying the coming Apocalypse, for the time being. |
