The Human race is far older than the Nephilim race, and as such the World is much more a Human world than anything else. Many Humans resent the Nephilim and their unnatural powers, appearances and affinity with Vita, and many more fear greatly the consequences that the Nephilim will have on the future of the Human race. Even so, for the most part, Humans co-exist with the Nephilim, and the two races have a rather tenuous, but still workable, truce-like relationship with each other.
Human society is based around the division of the World into the Seven Kingdoms, which were formed aeons ago. For millennia the Seven Kingdoms were at constant war with each other, in the great age-long conflict known as the Kingdom Wars. When concord was brought to them by the Prophets of Wisdom (see the
latinus scholari), the Seven Kingdoms each began a life of peaceful co-existence, which has lasted ever since, although each Kingdom still retains its independence.
With the coming of the Nephilim, the Seven Kingdoms have become even more unified, as Humans from all over the World face a common threat or ally.
As well as the Seven Kingdoms, there are a number of other Human Factions that exist, most commonly the various Guilds, but also the benevolent society of wisdom and knowledge, the
latinus scholari.

Nephilim in Human Realms

Many Nephilim, probably just under half of the entire race, live among the Humans in their own realms. Of all the Seven Kingdoms, none are devoid of a Nephilim presence, and some, such as the Crimson Kingdom, actively welcome Nephilim.
Of course, the Seven Kingdoms are still the domain of the Human race, and any Nephilim seeking to live there would do well to take note of that.
