| The Initium Occasus births the Nephilim, and in doing so grants them certain supernatural powers, represented by both the Aptitudes and the Manifestations. The difference between the two is that Nephilim may learn and teach Aptitudes, and advance in them, whereas a Nephilim is birthed with Manifestations, and cannot learn new ones as such. Manifestations are still often passed on from one Nephilim to another, click here for more details. The power of the Initium Occasus, and the resultant mystical Vita, does not solely affect Nephilim, however. More and more recently, certain Humans have begun to develop and learn certain Aptitudes, although no Human has ever been know to develop a Manifestation. Due to their nature, there are an infinite number of different powers, Aptitudes and Manifestations that the Nephilim can develop. Follow the links for details on all those that are currently known to be reasonably common and widespread among living Nephilim. Although Players are free to create their own Aptitudes and Manifestations, they are strongly advised to look through all those presented here first, because it will be more than likely that the desired effect can be found without having to create a new power. |
