PERSONALITY: Gothic, satanic, evil, merciless, twisted, sadistic, manipulative, violent, cold, psychotic, and bloodthirsty. It almost seems like he has no conscience and he never regrets anything that he has done.
BIOGRAPHY: Born a demon of darkness and death, his mother, Iris, died giving birth to him (legend states that it was because he was so evil and that he was Satan�s incarnate). He lived off of his mother's corpse for three days before someone daring enough took him in. The only thing that Nemesis remembers is that the person had mostly black hair and that they abandoned him when he was six. Because he never knew his father, Nemesis spent his entire life alone murdering innocents, learning various fighting techniques, and mastering different powers, shape shifting being among these. He came upon a lone unicorn demon woman in a forest one night. Named Kendra, she was in human form and lounging at a small spring. She was frightened greatly by Nemesis when he appeared. Knowing that he could take advantage of her and ruin her life by tainting a pure being such as herself, he had his way with her before vanishing with his frightening laugh echoing throughout the forest. The bruised, bleeding, and raped unicorn woman lay on the moss, sobbing into her tangled hair. I guess Nemesis could now say that was his greatest mistake. That night he created his daughter, Gemini.
When he was around thirty-three thousand years old, Nemesis got into a fight with a mysterious and powerful vampire. The vampire managed to turn him into a fledgling the very instant Jesus died on the cross. However, because of unexplained means Nemesis became only half vampire, retaining his demonic qualities. A week later, he tracked down his vampyric father, Sekhmet, and killed him. In the 1400s, he learned of a vampire named Dracula. Having a thirst to become more powerful, he convinced the famous vampire to take Nemesis under his wing. Nemesis grew stronger under Dracula until Van Helsing killed him---but not for long.
Two hundred years later, Dracula was resurrected. Nemesis, who had been training by himself since Dracula�s murder, returned to his former master. Eventually, Dracula�s worst fears were confirmed: his apprentice was becoming increasingly stronger than him. Tension flared between the two and they engaged in a long and vicious battle. Nemesis won, killing Dracula for good. Nemesis drank his fallen master�s body dry, increasing his power even more. To this day, Dracula�s blood still flows through his apprentice�s veins. Nemesis soon learned of the Fatum Caelestis Prophecy that stated that a powerful being would soon be born. When Ryoko came into the world, the demon vampire realized that she was the one that had been foretold. He trained even harder, biding his time. Ryoko had a rival named Zellos and she defeated him when she was sixteen. Nemesis easily found Zellos and killed him. A few days after Ryoko heard of the mysterious death, Nemesis made himself known to his new enemy. He rattled her nerves during their first meeting, using his powers to keep her from moving while he bit her shoulder, marking her as his own and ensuring that he could keep track of her. When he did this, Ryoko's hands emitted white magic and she left scars on his shoulder blades with her nails. He then released her and vanished. He has appeared to her many more times, continually taking advantage of her weaknesses. Ryoko trained her body almost to the breaking point until she gained possession of the Sacrosanct and became even stronger than she already was, but she must master the power first in order to defeat him.
At one point Nemesis found his father, the demon Aureus, soon after the Imaad household did research on Nemesis and found out about his past. Tomoyami was going to track Aureus down and see if he knew of a way to defeat Nemesis, but before he could, Nemesis murdered his father.
QUIRKS: He has a lust/hate relationship with Ryoko. Being only slightly more powerful than her, he hates and wants to kill her. However, at the same time (being the twisted psychopath he is), he desires her. He enjoys taunting her, unsettling her nerves and making her weak. He is the only person whom Ryoko truly fears and is able to control dark elements. He has too many powers to name, but he can command demons, raise the dead, Phase, shapeshift, heal rapidly (if a limb is cut off, it reattaches itself), freeze people in place just by looking at them, kill just about anything by thinking of them (though he prefers killing the person with his own hands), make his claws turn into black, metal, spike-like spears (they are a little over two feet long), and various others. He can turn into a gigantic demon beast called the Enkidu and a deformed hellhound when he wishes. He cannot touch anyone who is praying for it will cause him a most excruciating pain because of God's holy power, the one pain that he cannot stand. Light of any sort does not hurt him (though he does find it annoying), and even when light is shined directly upon him, he is always surrounded in a constant darkness. The light never penetrates the aura-like shadow around him. Not even his eyes or hair have any luster. He literally has no heart. His blood is black and can melt through almost anything. If it comes in contact with a person, it is like acid: it melts the clothes and when in contact with the skin, paralyzes the victim, rapidly spreading the paralysis throughout their body. If the person is not healed by strong white magic, they will die within thirteen minutes---and the process is much too agonizing to put into detail. He constantly mutilates himself by any means possible. Because he cannnot feel any pain (unless it is caused by some extremely strong white magic that tends to leave scars), and the fact that he heals quickly, it seems to make him even angrier that he cannot hurt himself. When he is nearby, anyone can feel him and know that he is present The fact that he is so evil causes living creatures to feel weighed down by great despair and fear, like something is crushing their heart. Even plants and animals die and the weather begins to turn for the worst when he appears. Occasionally Kothar accompanies him for short periods of time. Nemesis is the one who turned Kai into a vampire and ruined her life. Over the course of his lifetime, he has had thousands of fledglings, but maintains a constant number of six hundred and sixty-six. If one dies, he creates another one to take its place. If he kills every single one of his "children" and feeds on them, his demonic power will increase and he would become an unstoppable force. Unfortunately, that is his plan and he has already begun the slaughter to increase his power. Nemesis hates his biological daughter, Gemini, because he says that she was a mistake and should have never existed. It could be because he was shocked that he had truthfully helped her come into existence, making it entirely his fault that he was a father. He probably did not know how to be a father to her and did not want to, either. He hated the idea and possibly feared it. The true reason for this hatred is unknown.

THOUGHTS: Okay, I had more than enough characters, but I needed a really evil bad guy. You know how in shows they have several villains and each one is more powerful and meaner than the previous? Well, I thought that if Nagumo was taken care of, the Shadow Tigers got vanquished, and X and Tabbymon were eventually turned to our side (somewhat), who would be the main nemesis? XD I didn't want an enemy who followed the usual clich�s, I wanted someone unique who would be something that no one had ever even seen or heard of before. Thinking for weeks on end about every quality and sin that I hated, I formed my character's personality: a guy who loved to see blood and who could kill anyone if he thought about them dying if he concentrated hard enough, but who would usually rather fight with them to toy around until he got his thrills and killed them in the most morbid and messiest way possible. I revolved Nemesis' look around being a creepy, big, muscular, even seductive bishie who always had an evil look about him (usually smirking his trademark evil, cocky smile that seems to say, "I will kill you"). He's the type of guy who would murder someone in broad daylight in the middle of a crowded street and calmly walk off smiling to himself---then kill everyone else a split second later. Anyway, his name came to me one night when I couldn't sleep. It was simple, easy to say, and in English. XP I looked around for other names, but Nemesis seemed to stick to the new character like super glue, so I added duct tape to ensure that the name stayed with him. ^o^ 0 I also added a bit of an ancient, legendary (but unusual), aire about him by making him a "wicked-demon-turned-half-demon-by-a-rogue-vampire." And since I seem to have a weakness for guys with long hair, that windblown and unruly white mane of his seemed to fit. He just wouldn't look right with short hair, now, would he? Originally he was supposed to have black and white hair, but that design stuck to Aureus. Besides, black hair never really fit him for some reason... Being evil's manifestation, of course I'd make his nails like black claws. Since he's the, "biggest, ultimate bad@$$ to ever exist," to quote Plague, I wanted him to have unique eyes. I wanted them to have no luster or shine whatsoever and be able to look cool while causing even the bravest person to tremble in fear. Sure, unique shapes and shiny metallic colors and everything would be different, but I wanted them to look like a snake, like looking into the eyes of the Devil himself. So the spliced eye idea came to mind. Probably not the most original, but it serves my purpose. To prove that he is a force to be reckoned with, I developed his past and even had him kill Dracula after his ressurection. Dracula's overdone, I admit, but I don't ever recall seeing anyone kill him to drink him dry for more power. Basically Nemesis was developed to be the most evil, malicious, sickest, powerful, heartless biznatch anyone's ever created/seen/heard of/etc. He's supossed to be THE ultimate arch-villain; badder than any character or person to ever exist. Nemesis is probably my most favorite character.
On a side note, I got bored in class one day and actually started writing an organized poem! >^w^< I'm not much of a poetry writer, but if I feel like writing something, it turns out pretty good. ^_^ 0 So, this poem I named "Dark Alibi" and it's basically Nemesis's sonnet:
