Asil is Khemistry's half sister and is an 11 year old Arabian mare sired by "Flame C" and out of "Anastazya." She is the sweetest thing and is smaller than her herd mates. We used to have an Arabian gelding called "Glorii Bound" who used to be a stallion. Surprisingly enough, he sired a foal with Asil, so we have a little triangle going on. We are hoping to breed her to "Khartoon Khlassic" or a Gypsy Vanner someday soon.
Khemistry is the youngest of the three horses, being 8 years old. He has a goofy and kind personality. Even though he is the youngest, he is very tall and leggy and would make an excellent endurance horse. He is at the bottom of the pecking order and was picked on so much by "Glorii Bound" that we had to get rid of the former stallion to keep Khemistry safe. He is an Arabian gelding sired by "Flame C" and out of "Khemafix," making him Asil's half-brother.
Known as the "Old Man" or "Buddah Puss" (because he's so fat and tends to look like he is meditating half of the time), my brother named him after the character from "X-Men" (and he lives up to his name well, mind you; scratching everything in sight). My ex-step grandmother and I found him under the grandstands one afternoon at Andrew's baseball game many years ago. He is like Garfield: fat and happy. He seems to swagger when he walks, so we refer to him as our "drunk kitty." We have had him for 14 years.
Named after Kuwabara's cat from the anime "Yu Yu Hakusho", Mom's friend found her at a car wash. She was wild and it took me a few weeks to tame her. When we first got her, my genius brother shoved his hand into the pet carrier to try and get her out. She drew blood from his hand and he told me that I might as well have a rabid groundhog for a pet. Because of her wily nature (attacking people for no apparent reason and for her cruel nature towards her live prey), she has been dubbed "Psycho Puss" and "The Spawn of Satan."
