BIOGRAPHY: Nemesis�s father and a dark demon. Nemesis is his only son and he is probably the only person whom Aureus truly feared. Aureus� origins are unknown and he had the ability to transform into a huge black dragon known as the Leviathan. He was the cause of an ancient battle referred to as the Bedlam War. It was a vicious battle between evil demons, Beasts, and a select few mortals against good ones. The war pitched brother against brother and sister against sister in a classic battle for supremacy. Aureus was the head general and the evil side nearly won. However, they lost when a pure light from the heavens sent a rain of fire upon the dark army, killing almost everyone. Only a select few survived. Aureus was one of the ones who escaped, but one side of his face was badly scarred as a reminder of that fateful day. It is not known how he met Iris, but it is known that when she rejected him, Aureus (keeping his eyes averted from hers so that he would not die by her power), forced himself upon her against her will and then left her, not knowing that she would reluctantly bear their son. This sinful act was Aureus� downfall. Thousands of years later, Nemesis found his father and murdered him.

BIOGRAPHY: A Patina vampire, Cena is an alchemist. He was born and raised in a small village in Romania. His full name is not known, but he became a skilled alchemist at an early age and the village's resident doctor. A Patina vampire turned him into a fledgling when Cena was twenty three years of age. The villagers assumed that his electric blue hair and lavender eyes were the result of one of his experiments. Cena did not talk much and when he did, it was barely audible because he was hiding his fangs from the humans. A few villagers regarded his unnatural sparkling eyes and his sudden and unusual silence with suspicion. The alchemist was discovered to be a vampire when he was feeding on a woman while she slept and her husband walked in. After that night, he never returned. Nothing else is known of his past. He begins showing up near the Imaad house near the end of the "Full Throttle" season and it is assumed that he, too, begins living there for a time. Cena is relatively calm and kind and has a dignified aire about him, but he is a bit haughty. Cena can also effectively communicate with spirits and his alchemy skills are superb and are specialized in healing. Cena seems to take the fact that he is a vampire with calm negligence and has accepted what he is, but still practices the alchemy art as he did when he was still mortal. Apparently he is acquaintances with Zachariah, for the red-headed vampire seems to have a strong dislike of Cena and gets irritable when he is around. Wraith, of course, finds Cena and Zachariah's rivalry amusing and he casually regards Cena with little attention, but seems to be on familiar terms with him. Zachariah and Cena dislike each other because in the 1700s, Cena fed on and killed a French woman that Zachariah had been stalking as prey and had eventually began developing feelings for her. Because Zachariah holds a grudge against Cena for this, Cena therefore views Zachariah with disdain, but will easily tolerate him, mildly amused in knowi ng that his presence irritates him.

The birth of her son killed Iris, but not just because that when death demons give birth they are doomed to die, but because of the evil being that she brought into this world broke her heart and the great evil force that the infant emitted frightened her to death. It is said that she died while staring in terror into her son�s red spliced eyes. Nemesis lived off of his mother�s body for three days before a dark stranger took him in.

One night, Nemesis (who, at the time, was still a full demon), came upon Kendra in her human form lounging at a small spring in the forest. She was frightened greatly by him when he appeared. Knowing that he could take advantage of her and ruin her life by tainting a pure being such as herself, Nemesis had his way with her before vanishing with his frightening laugh echoing throughout the forest. The bruised, bleeding, and raped demon lay on the moss, sobbing into her tangled hair. She was afraid to return to the herd, knowing that she would immediately be banished as an outcast because of what had happened to her and who had caused her to lose her innocence. However, feeling scared and alone and needing her herd for support, she traveled back. The stallion, Arkane, immediately sensed Kendra's impurity. Smelling the evil stench on her and the abomination growing within her womb, he immediately attacked her and chased her off, making sure that she would never return while the frightened herd members stood back and watched. Kendra wandered the wilderness alone, shying away from any living creature she saw. The months passed and the birth of her offspring neared. On the night of a new moon, Kendra, in her unicorn form, gave birth to her demon child. When she saw that the child was not a foal, but was more or less human-like with a unicorn tail, she took her human form and held the girl in her arms. Kendra was clearly shaken when she saw that her daughter's eyes were like Nemesis', but soon calmed a little when she noticed that they were full of innocence instead of evil and hatred. Despite whom Gemini's father was, Kendra vowed to take care of her child. Gemini grew up happily with her mother, but because of who she was, most other creatures stayed as far away from her and Kendra as possible and whispered amongst themselves that she was as evil as her father. Kendra was offended, but blew off the remarks. Gemini acted like she was not bothered by the gossip, but a great hatred and anger began growing deep within her soul. Nemesis was well known and feared by all, but rarely spoken of because of the fear and panic that his name spread. It was her mother who reluctantly told her about her father. Finding out who he was made Gemini loathe him even more. The hatred intensified to the maximum when she went looking for her mother after exploring the surrounding forest when she was around seven hundred years old. She came to the glade where she and Kendra resided and noticed red liquid in the normally clear water. She followed the trail of blood in the small river to the large weeping willow tree at the water's edge. The flowers and grass in the surrounding area had withered and died, and so had the tree. Kendra's equine body was laying halfway out of the water, mutilated and beheaded. There was no sign of a large struggle and a sickly evil scent was in the air. Gemini knew that scent for it was part of her own. Nemesis had killed her mother just for the pure joy of it. What had happened was that Nemesis appeared as Kendra was taking a drink of water in her unicorn form. His evil presence and the dying vegetation caused Kendra to wheel around and face him. Nemesis used his powers to freeze the frightened mare in place as she stood in the water, completely helpless. Nemesis slowly killed her while she was forced to stand, slicing and gutting her alive while she was unable to scream or fight back. He ended her suffering by slowly and painfully cutting off her head and then, releasing his hold on her, allowed her limp and torn body fall to the ground. Alone, Gemini buried what was left of her mother's body. She never found Kendra's head, however, and somehow knew that her father had taken it. Ever since then, Gemini devoted herself to increasing her demonic power and vowed to kill her father at all costs for revenge.

He�s sly, talkative, and cruel, but he is a bit of a coward and greatly fears Nemesis. However, Kothar is not Nemesis� minion nor a friend or enemy of him. Nemesis finds him highly annoying and can only tolerate his presence for a short while. Kothar is smart enough to not test his patience and shrinks back in terror when the King of Darkness even glances at him. Nemesis stays silent most of the time when Kothar speaks to him. Kothar is not very powerful, but what he lacks in strength he makes up for in brains; even his speech is snake-like and devious. Though his true form is that of a serpentine dragon, he can also take human form, but does so very rarely.

Most likely Osiris was raised by his mother and then taken away by Equusmon when he began to show his powers as a yearling in order to keep him safe from preying humans. Osiris eventually struck out on his own once be became older. He met Unicomon and created Hoofamon with her, then vanished for unknown reasons. He reappeared and tried to track the mare down, but she remained elusive. An odd bond was formed between Osiris and Vixenmon, whom he happened to meet during a storm when he became disoriented and she led him to shelter. The equine half-Beast and fox Beast fell in love and Kenyamon was soon born. When Tabbymon disapproved of Osiris and Vixenmon being together because of their mixed origins, she battled them and left them barely alive. Taking Kenyamon, she threw the young pup into a river, hoping that she would drown. Instead, Kenyamon survived (it is because of Kenyamon that Tabbymon despises Shinmon, because he resembles the mix breed Beast so well). Since that day, no one knows what became of Osiris and Vixenmon.

Tyrel was also a skilled break dancer and kept Wolf�s secret of being a werewolf. He lived with his aunt, Betty Oltsego, and her sixteen year-old daughter, Abishai Zahara Oltsego. Tyrel and Abishai�s nineteen year-old cousin, Zebadiah Amun-Ra Oltsego, also lived with �Aunt B.� Abishai was, of course, Aunt Betty�s daughter that she had at the age of thirty nine. As for Tyrel, his mother, Auset, was Bakari and Baingana�s sister. Tyrel was an only child and his mother and father had to move to California for their new jobs. Tyrel wanted to stay in Pittsburgh, so they sent Aunt B money every month to help pay for Tyrel�s school and groceries. Bakari, Auset, and Baingana were all from Uganda, but Auset and Bakari left for America as soon as they could, leaving their brother to reside in Africa for a few more years before immigrating to America, too. Tyrel had known Wolf since middle school and spent most of his free time with the werewolf and their small group of friends. One night when they were both fifteen, Tyrel and Wolf came upon a gang abusing a dog and peacefully talked the thugs into letting them take the dog. As soon as Tyrel approached Wolf and said that the group of teens were, �not that bad,� one of the boys pulled out a gun and shot Tyrel in the back, killing him in the street. After taking Tyrel�s eagle claw necklace to remember him by, Wolf snapped and turned into his wolf form and nearly killed the gang. After that night, Wolf joined a gang called �The Pack� to try to patch up the gaping hole in his lonely heart that Tyrel�s death had left behind.

The stallion had wandered into the gully for water and spotted the mare. The two equines traveled together for some time before Osiris vanished, leaving the pregnant Unicomon to wander alone once more. Unicomon gave birth to Hoofamon�s egg near the Imaad�s house, but was forced to abandon it when a pack of wolf-dog demons began pursuing the mare. She led the pack away from her egg before fighting them. The defeated pack ran off, leaving Unicomon to return to her egg. However, she arrived just as the young Ryoko discovered the egg. Sensing the young girl�s power and recalling the Fatum Caelestis Prophecy, Unicomon kept an eye on Ryoko until the egg hatched. Seeing how happy Hoofamon seemed and realizing that this life would be better for him than what she could offer, Unicomon left her son in Ryoko�s care. Occasionally she will hide nearby or disguise herself as a human woman to check on her son, but there is hardly any interaction between the Beast mare and the group---other than Hoofamon (not knowing that she is his mother), spots Unicomon in her human form and comments on how hot she is!

BIOGRAPHY: The first opponent of Ryoko, Zellos was one of six demon siblings who each had unique powers from a different element. Zellos controlled fire and was pretty much the leader of his siblings. Though his age is unknown, Zellos was the eldest and most powerful. He was normally cool and collected, but had a fiery temper. Zellos and his brothers and sister were the offspring of a dark and light demon couple. They lived in a small cave fashioned into a dwelling. Their mother, the light demon named Hikari, was oddly frail because of the abuse she suffered from her mate, Umbra. Zellos, Shayde, Kraken, Magnum, Val, and Zeke were forced to witness the fights and were often beaten for no reason by their father while their injured mother would plead for him to stop. Eventually, Umbra killed Hikari right in front of their children�s very eyes. Zellos finally snapped and single handedly slaughtered his father. Since then, the siblings had been on their own, always sticking close together and showing bitter resentment towards the world. They paid close attention to the prophecy and all had planned to become Ryoko's rivals once she came of age and attempt to kill her. However, all of Zellos's siblings were mysteriously picked off and killed one by one soon after Ryoko was born, leaving Zellos as the only survivor to challenge the fox girl once she became a teenager and started showing an astounding amount of power. Zellos and Ryoko battled each other for nearly three years before he was finally defeated. Ryoko refused to kill him as he had demanded and left him on their battlefield. Supposedly he was going to return to challenge her once again, but it is later discovered that Nemesis murdered him.
