As the good Doctor has mentioned, ryemonster is planning a fall show or two to showcase some new songs and heat up the cockles of Toronto with some kickass rawk n' roll. We'll be updating the new ryemonster site very, very soon (honest guys, I promise). After a summer of uncertainty, drunken circumvention, and not to mention a few knots tied, Ryemonster are working t'wards their first ep. as yet untitled. However in the most exciting of developments fans everywhere will be delighted to know Ryemonster is again booked into Holy Joes for another engagement. Rumour has it John Hunter will again be reprising his role as King of Ryemonster openers. The date will be announced shortly (so everyone will be in suspense), stay tuned!!

It was just confirmed by Hipster Kev yesterday that ryemonster will be rawkin' some shorts off at the Legendary Horseshoe Tavern on the equally legendary Queen Street on May 27th. Feb 16th, 2002, the hipsters' house band ryemonster made their live debut at the idler pub in downtown toronto at avenue & dupont. If you had some sawks that were in dire need of being rawked off - ryemonster certainly obliged. Young virgins were weak in the knees, when the announcement came that the last song had just past for the evening and these rawkers now had to roll, the crowd was in a frenzy. A small group of devoted fans began chanting 'Sweet Tits! Sweet Tits!'. This small mantra took over the entire bar until the 100 person audience were all yelling in unison for a song they'd never heard. No kidding! So powerful was the rawkability of the band's set, that no one wanted it to end. So we kicked they're encore with a supremely tasty groove. thanks to all who came out and saw the the debut of a new height in rawk n' roll excellence. We'll be updating the ryemonster page so it'll reflect the actual members of the band and have our next shows etc. Later.

In my attempt to keep this page fresh and updated...well, until I get bored and find something better to do, like a dog to play with, I've added an a page, which I hope will develop into the ultimate tribute to one of the greatest deserts ever created by man or beast; the pie.� I hope to create a Mecca for this fine desert and it all starts now.� I'll hopefully have an array of pie information up there soon, including pie porn.

So, Barf inspired me recently with his changes to the website, and this being the proverbial time of "renewal"...not to mention hangovers and holiday hospital visits (more on that later), I figured I'd start reworkin' the whole page.� Now, I don't claim to know much about this "In-tor-net", but the Hipsters' site has been up here since almost the dawn of the information superhighway...well, at least since its been on computers.�
Although a lot of us Hipsters have stuck together through the years, others have other priorities now.� Some are gettin' married while still others are makin' babies.� To each their own.
Anyways, check out the ever changin' site, and check out Adrian's intermittent posts from the great Aussie outback.� Well, that is if he doesn't burn up first.� Okay, enjoy y'all.
