The Hipsters
Hipsters aren't made, they're born. You could be a Hipster and not even know it. In the tradition of the Hipsters of the past: the beat generation, Lenny Bruce, the Merry Pranksters, the Hardy Boys, and jazz and blues musicians everywhere.
To be a Hipster is to be of an indubitable, psyco-somatic, electriffic, deuteronomous mind set. The Hipsters see life as something which is to be pounced on and chewed up like a dingo on a baby. The Hipster is a product of the age of anxiety who's only wish to be able to continue his or her own trip unmolested by those who cannot understand. The H.H.S.O.C. strive to live Hipply every moment of their existence.
In February 1995, and again in Mar. 2000 a select few enjoyed a pilgrimage to New Orleans,
the birthplace of jazz, and lovely Cajun Women!
So smile and say "Hi" the next time a Hipster comes your way; and remember:
"Booze is the answer...I forgot the question!"
