This contract, for the 20____breeding season, is made and entered into on this ____ day of ______________20____, by and between:

1.) This contract covers:

2.) Terms of Contract:

A. $1,000 Breeding Fee per live foal/s guarantee. ($900 if booked before April 1st)

B. $150 Booking Fee. Confirms reservation and discount. (applicable toward Breeding Fee)

C. $175 Semen collection fee per collection.

D. Payment of breeding fee and initial semen collection fee in full via certified bank check or money order is required for shipment of semen. (Personal check accepted 14 days prior to shipment date.)

The following conditions to this contract are understood and accepted by the undersigned.

It is recommended that the above veterinarian/technician be available for palpation on a regular basis and examine the mare for breeding fitness and a uterine biopsy be taken to determine breeding soundness. (Note: Class 3 uterus is considered unacceptable.)

A. Mare owner must notify farm agent, Bill or Carol Wright 48 hours prior to expected mare ovulation, in order to prepare for semen shipment.

B. If mare fails to settle within 3 cycles after shipment of semen has commenced, a re-examination and biopsy of the mare is required prior to further shipment of semen.

C. At 15-20 days after insemination, conception should be verified by ultrasound. at 35-55 days the mare should be re-examined and results sent to the stallion owner. If a negative ultrasound occurs, Bill & Carol Wright must be notified immediately, in order to prepare for shipment of semen.

D. Failure to comply with A, B, and C above will completely nullify this contract. No additional semen will be shipped, and the breeding fee will be forfeited.

5. Collection, Container and Shipment Fee:

A. Cost of semen 1 collection is $175.00 per collection.

Semen collection and preparation for shipment for Glick's Morgans is through Dr. Tom Newton, Crozier, VA.(804) 270 1327, Equine Reproductive Specialist.

2.) Cash. $75 Shipment Charge1  Deposit due at the time of booking. (Excess charges to be billed at cost.)

C. Container is the property of Dr. Tom Newton. $300 container security deposit may be cash, Visa or Mastercard.

6. Live Foal Guarantee:

A. This contract contains a "Live Foal Guarantee". A live foal is described as a newborn foal which stands and nurses. If a foal is born dead, or fails to nurse, the breeder must be notified within 15 days after the death of the foal. A written statement of autopsy from a licensed veterinarian confirming details of the failure-of live-birth or failure to stand and nurse is required within 30 days postpartum for return privileges for the 20____breeding season.

B. If the mare's should miscarry, abort or become barren prior to being confirmed "in foal" (30-35 days ultra-sound) the mare owner has the option to:

1. Rebreed named mare/s the same season or,

2. Return the named mare/s for the following breeding season or,

3. Submit another mare/s for the current breeding season.

C. Breeder's Certificate: A AMHA Certificate of Service will be issued for the foal, conceived by this mating, when the stallion breeding fee and all other expenses have been paid in full.

D. Mare owner agrees that the semen shipped under this contract will e used only for inseminating the mare/s named or for a substitute mare according to the terms of this contract.

E. This contract shall not be assigned or transferred and represents the entire agreement between the parties. No other agreements, or promises, verbal or implied are included. When signed this contract is binding on both parties, subject to the above terms and conditions.
