Christmas is a fantastic time of the year.
People are (generally) happy and more generous than usual, willing to donate their time and/or money to those less fortunate-- perhaps who are elderly, disabled, lonely, or poor like me. My parents were very generous this Christmas and donated their funds to buy me a digital camera. The most recent pictures (after Christmas, one might assume) are taken with my brand-spanking new Fujifilm FinePix 2600Zoom, 2.0 mega pixel digital camera, then edited with Adobe PhotoDeluxe Home Edition 3.0 as needed and desired.
