Name: Cloud Strife

Cloud is a ShinRa Ex-SOLDIER who doesn't seem to know too much about even his own past, except his fake past with Tifa. Although Cloud's pretty layed back nowadays, Cloud's only main concern is where his next pay is comming from. He grew up in the town of Nibelhiem with his childhood friend Tifa, and assumingly having defeated Sephiroth years ago, Cloud left the ranks of SOLDIER and later joined the terrorist group, AVALANCE.

Name: Barret Wallace
Age: 197

Weapon: Gatling Gun

The loudmouth, techno-freak ammo-wasting Leader of the terrorist group known as AVALANCHE, Although Barret seems to be simply a rude, uncaring person, he does care deeply for the planet, and will stop at nothing to save Gaia from the ShinRa corporation.

Name: Tifa Lockheart
Age: 20
Height: 167cm
Weapon: Gloves

With a minimal skirt, long lucious legs, and a REALLY big chest, it's safe to say Tifa is every boy's wet dream, however, Tifa isn't what would be seen as a mere 'bimbo' deep down inside she's a very caring and loving person, aiding Cloud and Company with her fists. Oh yes, her feelings towards Cloud grow quite quickly as you progress through the storyline.

Name: Aeris Gainborough
Age: 22
Height: 163cm
Weapon: Rods and Staffs

One of the more emotional characters of the game, and the sole survivor of the ancient race known as the 'Cetra'. In their fight against Sephiroth, Aeris grows to learn that she's practically the key to stop Sephiroth's will, thus, a very important game character. Although Aeris is weak she's very good with magic and a good supportive character, who's also shares intense feelings for Cloud..

Name: Red XIII(Nanaki)

Weapon: Clips

Nanaki, first revealed as the specimen known as Red XIII is one of the more logical members of the group, although somewhat of an anthropomorphic cat, don't let this fool you, as Nanaki really can pack quite a punch, as well as aiding the party with his logical quick and easy thinking, Nanaki originates from Cosmo Canyon and is the child of the great Seto.

Name: Cait Sith
Age: N/A
Height: 100cm
Weapon: Megaphones

As far as the rather strange, yet useful characters go in the FF series, Cait Sith takes the cake on this one, having a rather absurd limit technique, all based on chance, and really little reason to be in the game upon meeting Cloud, we soon discover that Cait Sith is something more... controlled by none other than Reeve of the ShinRa corporation, his original intentions were to spy on Cloud's Progress. As far as Cait Sith's personality goes.. he tends to always have information when needed.

Name: Cid Highwind
Age: 32
Height: 178cm
Weapon: Spears/Lances

Cid is most definantly the rudest asset to the party, with the strength of an army and the mouth of one hundred angry sailors, this pilot doesn't seem appropriate at times, however, like everyone, Cid has a dream and a purpose to fight, so would gladly offer his spear in assistance of Cloud while chasing his own dreams of breeching the near reaches of space.

Name: Yuffie Kisiragi
Age: 16
Height: 160cm
Weapon: Boomerangs

A rather fiesty, fiery young ninja, Yuffie is by far the most immature of the group, and also has an insatiable appetite for Materia. At one point of the game, Yuffie turns on both Cloud, and the planets protection just to steal their materia.. her heart is in the right place though, as she can be somewhat considerate towards others, and only wants to do good.. Not evil in any circumstance. Besides.. stealing isn't too bad, right?

Name: Vincent Valentine
Age: 27
Height: 184cm
Weapon: Pistols

A man shrouded in darkness, and concealed within mystery, not alot is known about the Ex-Turk, Vincent. He may seem cold and uncaring at times, but don't let this fool you, Vincent too has a purpose of fighting, a love to avenge, and his own mysteries to solve, as far as character strength is concerned, Vincent is absolutely vital to the party, able to transform into a series of different beasts, his power is very much needed by the whole group.

Name: Sephiroth
Age: 30
Height: 180cm
Weapon: Masamune

The legendary Sephiroth, a man of few words, with an extremely long sword. This legendary swordsman is known to be the best in the land, wielding Masamune at an above human level, he earned himself the rank of top ShinRa SOLDIER first class. He learned of his true origins however, created in the same way that the ShinRa monsters of Mt. Nibel were, Sephiroth was soon consumed with insanity, and has been the main threat to both Cloud, and the planet since then. Sephiroth, is truely, by far the one of the most adored characters through the Final Fantasy series.
