Shiri Appleby - Liz Parker

Shiri Appleby, born December 7th,1978 has always been an actress. Her first taste of drama was at age four when she started appearing in Television commercials.

Shiri grew up in the San Fernando Valley, CA. She was an active part of the Calabasas High School community. She was a cheerleader, Year book editor and was a hostess at a restaurant...good practice for her acting career. Shiri kept her education close to her. She currently attends USC, where she says she lives a relatively normal life as a student, not a celebrity. Appleby once said in an interview that she gets a little star-struck herself. Perhaps it is her down to earth attitude that fans love so much. Shiri still finds time to work with kids and have fun with her real-life bud Majandra Delfino.

Unable to escape her love of drama Appleby took several breaks in college to makes movies, but her most acclaimed work so far has been her work on the hit series Roswell. She plays the beloved character "Liz Parker", who  gets shot while waitressing at The Crashdown Cafe in Roswell, New Mexico. In an act of the paranormal, Liz is brought back to life. She soon discovers that her healer, Max Evans, is and alien and since then  - nothing has been the same. Shiri portrays Parker with beauty and flair. The chemistry between herself and costar, Jason Behr as well as her remarkable screen presence have made Shiri a favorite with the Roswellian crowd and her adoring "Applesaucers".

Shiri has been involved in many Films and Television shows, including: "Go to the Light" (1988), "Knight & Daye", "I Love You to Death" (1990), "Perfect Family" (1992), "The Other Sister" (1999) and "Deal of a Life Time" (1999). She has also guest starred on high profile shows such as "Beverly Hills 90210", "Xena", "Seventh Heaven" and "ER". Recently she has undertaken lead roles in the movies "A Time For Dancing" and "Swimfan85". They will hit theatres in late 2001.
