Emilie
de Ravin was born on December 27, 1981 in Australia. Her training and experience
include an intensive workshop with N.I.D.A. and two acting courses with
Australia's Swinburne University for Film & TV. Her credits include two
months in 1998 with the Prime Time actors Studio workshops in Los Angeles where
she studied with Australian Producer/Director John Gauci.
Emilie has also studied classical ballet since the age of 9 and at age 15, she
was accepted into The Australian Ballet Co., an honor she earned by being chosen
from a pool of national and international applicants. She performed in
productions of the Australian Ballet Company as well as Danceworld 301.
