Katherine Heigl -
Isabel Evans
Katie
Heigl was born on November 24 1978 in Washington DC, raised in New
Canaan Conneticuit with her brothers and older sister. (One of her older
brothers, Jason, has passed away. :( )
Katherine
had amazing personality and beauty even as a young child. She started out as a
child model with the famous Elite Modelling Agency and did
multiple Sears catalog shoots. At age 12 she won her first film role in "
That Night" and was in other films over the next 2 years. In 1994 she was
catapulted into the lime light playing a disgruntled teen in "My Father
the Hero" opposite French actor, Gerard Depardieu. She went on to star in
the action film "Under Seige 2: Dark Territory". It gave her even more
exposure and soon afterwards, she graduated high school, intent on a film
career in LA.
After
Katherine became involved in the made-for-TV movie "The Tempest",
starring with Peter Fonda, she auditioned for all 3 female leads in the hit
sci-fi drama "Roswell". Little did she know that despite all her
past success, nothing could prepare her for "Roswell Fandom".
Katie
plays "Isabel Evans" and alien who has been hiding her identity from
all, but her closest friends and running from the law and foreign
un-friendlies. One of only 4 survivors of the "Rpswell Incident" of
1947, she lay in incubation for decades, far into the New Mexico desert. Her
life has always been compicated, not unlike her personality.
"Isabel"
has a wonderful heart and is extraordinarily protective when it comes to those
she loves. Smart and beautiful she plays the role of a human to perfection,
but inside she is plagued by self doubt. She has grown through the contact
with her human buds and especially her late boyfriend "Alex"
(Colin Hanks) and finally learns to love and trust herself. Katherine truly
does play this role to perfection. Her unique style and humor when
playing the more scatty "Isabel" and her focus when playing the
deceptive alter ego "Lonnie"show that she is an actress with great
range, born to shine.
Heigl's
other feature film credits include: "Prince Valiant",
"Stand-Ins", "Whish Upon a Star", "100 Girls"
and "Valentine" (2001) with Denise Richards and David Boreanaz.
