-----BOAT-1----- --Powered By--RCX --Controlled By--2 Touch Sensors and 1 Light Sensor --Piece Count--Unknown --Motor Count--2 --Status--Dissassembled --Notes--Slow moving boat. Driven by an old tri-blade propeller and steered by a front mounted rudder. It used two 12-ounce bottles and one 20-ounce bottle.
-----Boat-2----- --Powered By--Scout --Controlled By--2 Touch Sensors, 1 Light Sensor, Infared Signals from RCX --Piece Count--Unknown --Motor Count--2 --Status--Dissassembled --Notes--A highly improved remake of boat-1. It used two flat surfaced syrup bottles and one 2-liter bottle. The proppeller is about five times larger than the one used in boat-1. The rudder was also at a shallower level in the water and this combined with the new flat bottles allowed it to go in very shallow water. This boat could go at fairly high speeds but still had limited turning capabilities.
-----Turbo-Tri-Prop----- --Powered By--RCX --Controlled By--Infared Remote --Piece Count--Currently Unknown --Motor Count--3 --Status--Assembled --Notes--A very agile boat that is extreamly light weight. This boat has three plastic bottles which are used as a boyant force to keep it from sinking. It moves using its drive system which contains three propellers (each powered by an individual motor). The main prop, which gives out most of the thrust, is located in the center of the drive system. The two smaller props (located on the sides of the main prop) give an extra boost and are what cause it to turn.
-----Half-Sub-Aquabot----- --Powered By--RCX --Controlled By--RCX Code program --Piece Count--About 40 --Motor Count--1 --Status--Assembled --Notes--This is a submergeable/half submergeable boat. It barely floats above the water level as it cruises at top speeds. It can be fully submerged if extra weight is added. This robot cannot stear so it is more of a prototype at the moment. It is very well designed as it is made inside of a "Pringles" can (Pringles is a brand of potato chip). A motor was mounted in the can (made to fit very tightly) and a hole was drilled through the bottom of the can where the lego axle would go through. The RCX was also mounted in the can and a lever was made so it (the RCX) could be turned on and off by simply pressing on the external body of the robot. The Pringles can was then covered in duct tape and fins were added to the sides and bottom. After the "shell" for the robot was complete it was sprayed with an industrial spay adheisive. This made a watertight coating that would suround the robot and keep the insides (RCX and motor) dry. All in all I am proud of this bot because it is one of a kind.

--Half-Sub-Aquabot 2.0 (HSAB2.0)-- --Powered By--Scout --Controlled By--Remote --Piece Count--Unknown --Motor Count--1 --Status--Assembled --Notes--This is a submergeable/half submergeable boat. It barely floats above the water level as it cruises at its top speeds. It can be fully submerged if extra weight is added. This robot uses the same motor to control its direction as it uses to drive itself. It does this by the different ways it rides in the water. When it's going foreward the prop. is completely underwater and the robot goes in a straight line. When it's going backwards the prop. is only half submerged and this causes it to spin the back end of the robot around. This version is much faster than HSAB1.0 and looks really cool in the water because it has both a red light and a white light in the front. So when turn on the lights you can drive it around in total darkness.
