| I am a novice working with computers,born 1931 in Lancashire, United Kingdom, with a desire to produce a web page to compete with the very young and not least to be able to understand the technolgy involved which the young persons of today so easily adapt to. I have during my life had many interests and hobbies,none of which I was able to entirely master.I am sure that this attempt will also fail miserably. I am enjoying the challenge of using a computer and find much pleasure in playing Kyodai Mahjongg,Solsuite,Chess and other board games. I even play Golf and most of the Command and Conquer games when time is found. My more recent interests are using the various Chat mediums available and almost every day I am able to speak to Family and Pals thoughout the world. It is,to an old man,amazing that one can both speak to and see friends so readily. I have found true friends who are always willing to offer their expertise and knowledge to assist with any problem and more often than not help is imparted with great patience and humour. I commend the use of this medium to all. It is truly amazing to find that after a short time chatting complete strangers become very caring friends. All should use chat shows such as Yahoo,Paltalk,Msn and others. |
