With the inaugural WSHL season about to begin and still many players with out jobs, some  teams are taking advantage of this. The Vancouver Canucks, Montreal Canadians and Winnipeg Jets all have offered players try-out contracts. Andrew Brunette, R.J. Umberger, Pierre-Marc Bouchard, Mathieu Schneider and Kari Lehtonen (among others) have already been signed. Some of these 16 players could really become the final pieces for these 3 teams. Kari is a great young goaltender with a good upside and still has time to grow. Mathieu can still be a contributing force on any teams blue line. R.J. is a good defensive minded centre that still has many years of hockey left in him and Bouchard is a speedy winger with alot of offensive flair to his game.

Even with all these players being signed, there are still alot of great players with out jobs this year. Who contacts them first with a contract offer?
