thirteenth of April, as “Good Luck Opening Day” for the 2001 riding
season. April 20 - 23Pittsburgh, PA Greater Pittsburgh Expo Mart. The 3rd Annual Rev & Roll Motorcycle Expo showcases the 2001 models of domestic and international motorcycles. Exhibitors will also feature new services and products for riders. April 20 - 22, Canton TX First Monday Grounds. April 20 - 22, Cherokee Pass, MO Making plans now to attend 3 days of awesome motorcycle riding, fellowship, lie swapping, good food, and friendship. April 21 - 22, New Orleans, LA Ponchitrain Center motorcycle dealerships and other Vendors displaying and selling all the motorcycle enthusiast products. Plus, take a demo ride on several motorcycle brands. April 21, Sparta, KY Kentucky Speedway. Thousands of motorcycles and their owners will join the Arthritis Foundation and the Kentucky Speedway to kick off the 2001 racing season with the first annual Speed the Way to a Cure motorcycle event on Saturday, April 21, benefiting the Arthritis Foundation. An afternoon of fun, food and entertainment in the infield, the event’s main attraction invites riders to take their bikes for a spin around the new track. The Speed the Way to a Cure package also includes lunch, an event T-shirt and a ticket to the “Kentucky 150” ARCA stock car race held at the Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, KY. Participants and spectators alike can enjoy a swap meet with vendors from the Tri-State area and can take a chance in a raffle to win a new motorcycle. Big in Iowa will provide musical entertainment throughout the day. April 22 Danbury, CT Marcus Dairy. There will also be a great selection of new bikes and merchandise on display, ranging from leathers to used parts to everything in between. All roads lead to Danbury for the latest Super Sunday. April 26 - May 7, Sonoma, CA Sears Point International Raceway. This 10-day celebration for motorcycling enthusiasts kicks off the weekend of April 27-29 with the 5th annual AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days West, which features vintage motorcycle racing on Sears Point's 12-turn, 2.52-mile road course. There will also be vintage motocross, seminars, swap meets, demonstration rides by leading motorcycle manufacturers and group rides through the scenic Sonoma Valley. Join woman from around the country as they take place in the 1st annual Ladies at Laughlin River run. All ladies, both riders and passengers are invited to join in this event. Proceeds from this ladies function will benefit the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation. Las Vegas International Bike Festival Spring 2001, El Dorado Dry Lake Bed, 15 minutes from the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. A fun filled, charity motorcycle and music festival produced by BikeAidUSA to benefit Kid's Charities.org, one of the largest children's charities. Take test rides on a variety of marques. See a world class Stunt Show with Hollywood's top stunt men. Enjoy a star-studded Bike Aid Concert featuring national musicians and celebrities (on 11/11) and local acts nightly.
