Conservation Issues
| Though most organisms we see can be eaten, we cannot over-consume, otherwise, one would have nothing left to conserve. Conservation is still an important issue in today's world of IT, with many endangered animals being killed for their skins or shells, or even being sold to private collectors. The destruction of habitat and pollution also bring about extinction. This exhibit thus serves to inform the public about these threats and conservation strategies that are currently put in place to stop extinction. |
The death of these beautiful animals just goes to show how destructive man's activities may have become. |
Exhibits you can see in the exhibition:
| These corals are now in danger of facing extinction if man's hazardous activities are not curbed soon. |
