| After seeing more about the plight of these poor animals, the compassionate reader would realise the importance of having biodiversity research to increase public awareness towards these animals. One exhibit set up in the museum specifically tries to deal with this issue, by describing differing aspects of biodiversity research ranging from taxonomy to ichthyological exploration of southeast Asian freshwaters. This exhibit also shows the locations of various institutions that Raffles Museum of Biodiversity Research is presently collaborating with, and gives visitors a better, more detailed insight into the Raffles Museum of Biodiversity Research's network. |
