View from a side canyon on our 1998 Grand Canyon trip. 
I always  wondered why the Grand Canyon is called one of the seven great wonders of the world.  It wasn't until this trip,  when I experienced the scenery only viewed from the Colorado River deep in the Grand Canyon that I was able to understand.
