Chuck & Conni We specialize in having fun!
The caption at the left sez it all. We first met at a the hospital in January of 1996. I was involved in an electrical panel explosion that burned both my hands and face (this part was not so fun). For about four months,Conni was appointed as my Nurse Case Manager (NCM) for Workers Comp. As my NCM, she made sure that I received the best medical care to help me get back to work. There was nothing personal about this work relation, it was strictly professional. After all, I was toast, and probably smelled kinda bad.

About four years later, we ran into each other at a doctors office and struck a conversation. This time, Conni and I were both available. I was able to talk her into going on a dog walk date. We've been having great fun since.
Found out that Conni had never been whitewater boating before - figured I'd to give her an an opportunity to change that. Seems she really enjoyed our first trip on the river, which was the Chilibar run of the South Fork American. In fact, we enjoyed quite a few trips on the river, including a late evening float on the lower American river through the beaver ponds. A lot more excitement on the Middle Fork of the American with some Class IV & V rapids didn't seem to frazzle her to much. We both love our dogs (figured we were a package deal) and have a great appreciation for what nature has to offer.
We went on Rogue River trip in November for a 'lodge stay' trip. The Rogue in the Fall season is one of the most beautiful river trips I've been on. Lot's of great friends, great times and beautiful scenery. At Paradise Lodge, November 10th, 2000, on a picnic table overlooking the river, under a full moon, I asked her if she would marry me. We were married on May 6th, 2001 and were joined by all of our wonderful friends at the Gold Hill Winery near Coloma, CA. We absolutely rocked the house and had the time of our lives! The effort by all our friends overwhelmed both of us. Just can't say with words how much your support has meant to us. You're the greatest!! This was indeed the greatest event of my life!
